Campus Hazing Transparency Report
Pursuant to Section 485(f) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1092(f)), UC Santa Cruz will publish a hazing transparency report that summarizes findings concerning any student organization found to be in violation of the institution’s standards of conduct related to hazing. The report will be available by December 23, 2025 and will be updated at least two times per year. The report will include:
- The name of the student organization, athletic team, or living group;
- The date the investigation began;
- A general description of the incident(s), including the date of the initial violation, the determination of responsibility, and the sanctions placed on the organization if applicable;
- The date the investigation ended;
- The date the organization was charged with a violation if applicable; and
- Details of the sanctions and the timeline for completion.
